{"id":1386,"date":"2023-02-21T09:11:03","date_gmt":"2023-02-21T14:11:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cookbook.maynardfolks.com\/?p=1386"},"modified":"2023-02-23T08:18:07","modified_gmt":"2023-02-23T13:18:07","slug":"cinnamon-apple-pie-bread","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cookbook.maynardfolks.com\/?p=1386","title":{"rendered":"Cinnamon Apple Bread"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b><u>Ingredients<\/u>:<\/b><br \/>\n\u2153 cup light brown sugar (not packed)<br \/>\n1 teaspoon ground cinnamon<br \/>\n\u2154 cup white sugar<br \/>\n\u00bd cup salted butter, softened (or use unsalted and add \u00bc tsp salt)<br \/>\n2 eggs<br \/>\n1\u00bd teaspoons vanilla extract<br \/>\n1\u00bd cups all-purpose flour<br \/>\n1\u00be teaspoons baking powder<br \/>\n\u00bd cup milk<br \/>\n1 apple, peeled and chopped (I used Granny Smith)<\/p>\n<p><b><u>Directions<\/u>:<\/b><br \/>\nPreheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.<br \/>\nMix brown sugar and cinnamon together in a mixing bowl and set aside.<br \/>\nBeat white sugar and butter together in a bowl using an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.<br \/>\nBeat in eggs, 1 at a time, until incorporated; add vanilla extract and stir until incorporated.<br \/>\nCombine flour and baking powder together in another bowl; stir into creamed butter mixture.<br \/>\nMix milk into batter until smooth.<br \/>\nPour half the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Next add half the apples and half the brown sugar cinnamon mixture. Lightly pat\/push apple mixture into batter.<br \/>\nPour the remaining batter over apple layer; top with remaining apples and add more brown sugar\/cinnamon mixture.<br \/>\nLightly pat\/push apples into batter; swirl brown sugar mixture through apples using a finger or spoon (I cleaned my hands and used my finger because it was easier).<br \/>\nBake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean, 30 to 40 minutes. Mine took about 35.<\/p>\n<p><b>Tip<\/b>: If you notice it getting too brown on the top, cover it loosely with tin foil and continue baking until the inside is done.
