{"id":255,"date":"2015-04-02T12:16:29","date_gmt":"2015-04-02T12:16:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cookbook.maynardfolks.com\/?p=255"},"modified":"2015-04-02T12:16:29","modified_gmt":"2015-04-02T12:16:29","slug":"pioneer-woman-pea-salad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cookbook.maynardfolks.com\/?p=255","title":{"rendered":"Pioneer Woman Pea Salad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cookbook.maynardfolks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/DSC_49151.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-256\" src=\"https:\/\/cookbook.maynardfolks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/DSC_49151-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_49151\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<p>1\/3 cup Sour Cream<br \/>\n1 Tablespoon Mayonnaise<br \/>\n  Salt And Pepper<br \/>\n1 Tablespoon White Vinegar<br \/>\n4 cups Frozen Green Peas, Almost Totally Thawed<br \/>\n8 slices Bacon, Cooked Until Crisp And Chopped<br \/>\n1\/2 whole Small Red Onion, Halved And Sliced Very Thin<br \/>\n6 ounces, weight Cheddar Or American Cheese, Cut Into Small Cubes<br \/>\n3 Tablespoons Minced Fresh Parsley<\/p>\n<p>Directions:<\/p>\n<p>Mix the sour cream, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, and vinegar together to make the dressing. Add more salt and pepper to taste.<\/p>\n<p>Stir 2\/3 of the dressing into the peas until the peas are coated. Gently stir in the bacon, onion, cheese, and parsley until all combined. <\/p>\n<p>Taste and adjust seasonings. <\/p>\n<p>Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 2 to 4 hours before serving. (Pop the extra dressing in the fridge, too.)<\/p>\n<p>Remove from the fridge and stir in the rest of the dressing to your liking.
