Sprinkle with brown sugar. Arrange the apple slices and pecan halves in a design on top. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture.<br \/>\nPlace the muffins on a baking sheet and bake them for 7 to 8 minutes. Turn on the broiler and broil for 1 to 2 minutes until the sugar starts to caramelize, watching the entire time to make sure the pecans don&#8217;t burn.<br \/>\nRemove and allow to sit for 5 minutes before serving.
