{"id":451,"date":"2016-11-08T03:14:38","date_gmt":"2016-11-08T03:14:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cookbook.maynardfolks.com\/?p=451"},"modified":"2016-11-08T03:14:38","modified_gmt":"2016-11-08T03:14:38","slug":"old-fashioned-goulash-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cookbook.maynardfolks.com\/?p=451","title":{"rendered":"Old Fashioned Goulash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cookbook.maynardfolks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/goulash9.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cookbook.maynardfolks.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/goulash9-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"goulash9\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-452\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b><u>Ingredients<\/u>:<\/b><br \/>\n2 lbs\u00a0ground beef or turkey<br \/>\n3 tsp minced garlic<br \/>\n1 large Yellow onion, diced<br \/>\n2 1\/2 cups\u00a0water<br \/>\n1\/2 cup beef broth<br \/>\n1\/3 cup olive oil<br \/>\n2 (15\u00adounce) cans\u00a0tomato sauce<br \/>\n2 (15\u00adounce) cans\u00a0diced tomatoes<br \/>\n1 T Italian seasoning<br \/>\n1 T Adobo Seasoning<br \/>\n3 bay leaves<br \/>\n1 T seasoned salt<br \/>\n1\/2 T black\u00a0pepper<br \/>\n2 cups\u00a0elbow macaroni, uncooked<br \/>\n1 cup shredded Mozzarella Cheese<br \/>\n1\/2 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese<\/p>\n<p><b><u>Directions<\/u>:<\/b><br \/>\n1. In a large pan, saute your ground meat in skillet over medium\u00adhigh heat until HALF cooked, remove<br \/>\nfrom heat.<br \/>\n2. Add garlic, onions, olive oil &#038; until meat is\u00a0fully cooked.<br \/>\n3. Add water and broth, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, italian seasoning, bay leaves, and seasoned<br \/>\nsalt, pepper and adobo seasoning. Mix well.<br \/>\n4. Lower heat and cover \u00ad allow to cook\u00a0for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.<br \/>\n5. Add in the uncooked elbow macaroni to the skillet, stir well until everything is\u00a0combined<br \/>\n6. Cover once again and allow to simmer for about 30 minutes<br \/>\n7. Once cooked, remove the bay leaves<br \/>\n8. Add only the cheddar cheese and mix until combined<br \/>\n9. Add mozzarella right before serving<br \/>\n10.
