Oven Baked BBQ Chicken

2-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts about the same size

1-2 tablespoons smoked paprika

1-2 teaspoons garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp kosher salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

2 tbsp oil

1 cup or more of Head Country Hot and Spicy BBQ Sauce

Put seasonings in a ziploc bag and mix. Then add oil and mix well. Add chicken and toss until well covered with seasonings.

Preheat oven to 375 and put seasoned chicken in a greased baking dish. Drizzle with plenty of BBQ sauce and bake for 40 minutes, 20 minutes on each side, brushing with BBQ sauce when you flip the chicken. Meat thermometer should read 165 at the thickest part of the chicken when done. Serve with extra sauce. Shred leftovers for sandwiches.

This can be converted to a slow cooker meal. I would cook on low for one hour on each side to start with and adjust until done.
