INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups Granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups Light Corn Syrup
3 T. Butter
1 t. Vanilla extract
4 extra large Eggs ; lightly beaten
1 cup Pecans ; chopped
1 9-inch pie shell ; unbaked
INSTRUCTIONS
In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, butter and vanilla extract. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered six minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and cool to room temperature. Add eggs. Mix until well-blended.
Preheat oven to 350F. Place pecans in pie shell. Pour sugar mixture over pecans and bake 50 to 60 minutes or until pie is set in center.
