Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter (salted is optional), softened
1/4 cup honey
salt to taste (optional in lieu of salted butter)
1-2 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
Directions:
In a medium bowl, begin whipping the softened butter. As it gets fluffy, begin to drizzle in the honey slowly while continuing to whip the butter. Once all the honey is incorporated, sprinkle in the salt and the cinnamon if using and mix thoroughly. Use immediately on our moist and sweet cornbread, or put in refrigerator to allow to harden.
